Andy Rubin, co-founder of Android has started a new Smartphone company named Essential, the first smartphone from the company is to be called Essential PH-1.



 The smartphone has some unique features. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor, 128GB ROM and 4GB ROM, USB Type C, Bluetooth 5.0, Fingerprint Sensor, NFC, Fast Charging. The smartphone runs on Stock Android 7.1 (Nougat) and will receive monthly security updates. What makes the smartphone different is its Screen and Camera setup. the Smarphone also has modularity. As far as the screen is concerned, the smartphone features a edge to edge Display with Rounded corners, there is a cut on the middle of the notification area that holds the front-camera. There is a 5.71 inch Quad HD display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. it sports dual 13 megapixel cameras on the back, one of which is a telephoto lens, it has laser autofocus and Phase Detection Auto Focus. On the front there is a 8 megapixel shooter. Both the cameras can shoot 4K, and slow motion videos. there are two pins at the right side of the camera, that serves as the connector for the accessories of the phone.



                                      


The accessories include a 360 degree camera with 4 mics. The smartphone will also come with a dock and other accessories will be available in the future. the smartphone is made of aluminium and ceramic and  is available in four colours. The smartphone is priced at $700 without the 360 degree camera and $750 with the 360 degree camera.
